Blendkit Expands Beyond Blender 

Popular 3D Asset Library Launches Alpha Plugins for Maya, Godot, and Rhino

Blendkit (formerly BlenderKit), the largest integrated asset library for Blender 3D, is officially expanding its ecosystem. Founded by a small group of friends passionate about open-source software, Blendkit has grown to house over 100,000 3D models, materials, brushes, scenes, HDRIs, node groups, and add-ons—with roughly 50% of all assets available completely for free. 

Driven by a vision to make high-quality assets accessible to all creators, the Blendkit team has developed brand-new plugins for three major external platforms: Maya, Godot, and Rhino. 

With these new integrations, creators can now perform the following actions directly inside their preferred software: 

● Browse the entire asset library seamlessly. 

● Filter through categories to find specific assets. 

● Bookmark favorite items for future projects. 

● Download assets directly into their active scenes. 

The new plugins are completely free, open-source, and available for download. However, because they are currently in the early alpha stage, they may not run as smoothly as the native Blender add-on.
