Poor JPEG Quality inside of 3D Effect
I’m still tinkering with a project where I need to animate a book. I’ve gotten the Illustrator files from the animator of all the book pages. From those, I built a 21 page book in After Effects – which came out pretty nicely.
My problem is this: in the intro sequence the book kind of flies into the camera and then floats down to where it needs to be before opening. When you see the book as it flies up, the image is very noisy and pixelated – not at all like the EPS files used to make them. Even worse, when the book opens to the dedication page, the text is so blurred/smudged as to be illegible.
The EPS files of the pages are 8.5×11 in. Since I’m working in NTSC standard, though, my frame is set to 720×480 px. Is the large size discrepancy causing this issue?
