back to the old Vegasquake days…
Just was working on a project that could use Quake but I can’t get it to install in version 7, keep getting the message that Vegas 5 isn’t found on the computer. Am I missing something easy or will it just not run on 7? I’m not looking to spend money on packages like newblue, etc. Just need a quick effect and Quake was always free…

All I can tell you is what Edward (Troxel) said on another Vegas forum and that was:
It appears to run fine in Vegas 7 – there’s just no installer for Vegas 7. If you have the four base files, you can simply copy them over to the Script Menu folder in Vegas 7.

Google Vegas quake or get this script collection. It’s a part of it and there’s a lot of other useful scripts as well.

You still need Vegas 5 in order to initially install it. Otherwise you’ll need someone to send you the individual files. For cases like this, I pulled them out into a zip file so I could just copy them where they needed to be.

Okay, so what’s Quake? Sorry to seem stupid. I still got V5 in my machine plus V7.
…and Mike, that link you gave? I don’t trust that site. Too many pop-ups (blocked) as well as 3rd party cookies (also blocked). Maybe spyware also???? Plus I don’t see a list of the scripts they’re offering in the download.

Allen, I use Firefox and a pop-up blocker so I never see them.

Vegas Quake is a script that will add a bunch of Pan/Crop keyframes to make the selected clip jump around. Today, I prefer to use the effects made by newbluefx for this instead. They’re much easier to control and test.
