    Help!

I’m using vegas 6 and have edited a wedding. I’m trying to render the project as a quick time file so i can author the wedding on my Imac using iDVD… for some reason iDVD won’t accept MPEG2.

Anyway, I seem to be able to render smaller files as quick time but when I go to render out a file that’s larger… saye… an hour long… I get the following messgae.

An error occured writing the file. Make sure you have write access to the file/folder. and that there is enough disk space”.

I have loads of disk space so I can’t imagine it’s that.

Are there special custom settings I should be looking at to render to quicktime so I can author on idvd?

    cheers.

Wouldn’t it be easier to do a Print to tape from Vegas, recapture in your Mac and then author it?
Then you don’t have to worry about which file format to use, etc.

Check under Preferences > General and look at the bottom for the path for the temp files folder. Do you have ample space THERE? If not, point it somewhere else.

Thanks Gary… I’ve had a look at the temp folder …there’s around 11 gig available.
Do you think I’d need more for a high quality 1hour quick time file to render out?
