    Hi All,
I am using Vegas 7 and DVD Architect 4. I my project to an .MPG file. My project has markers, and I have set the flag to include markers in the output file. Everything is rendered OK (I also render the audio to an .MP3 file). When I load the rendered file into DVD Architect I don’t get the chapter markers. Also, the button to load markers is grayed out. Any ideas about what is going on?

    Did you move the file?

Also, you should render the audio to AC3 – not MP3.

    Hi Edward,
Yes, I moved the file from one computer to another (I edit on one (the faster) and burn on another). Ihave read a few posts, and discovered that I should be rendering the audio as an .AC3 file – will do in the future.

When you moved the file, you lost the markers. The marker information is stored in a separate file (maybe a .sfl???). You would also need to move that file. Even then, I’m not sure it would be automatically picked up.

    Hi Edward,
That did the trick – I moved the .mpg.sfl file over to my DVD PC and everything worked fine. In the past i had rendered to .AVI files, and the markers are actually in the file. Thanks for the help!
