  DVD Quality DVD Architect 3- How can it be improved?

  I compile my movies which may be only 1-2 gigs and as an MPEG-2 file is really clear, but when I use DVD Architect to create the DVD and then play it back I find that the image quality is far less. From the area you can actually see burnt onto the DVD it appears to be much more than if just burnt as an MPEG-2 file. When I use SONIC DVDLite however to create my DVD the picture quality is perfect – is there a setting that I need to use in DVD Architect to ensure it only uses the orignal file size without expanding it to nearly the full size of DVD disk?   Is DVD A recompressing the file? It shouldn’t with a DVD valid file. Which preset did you use to create the file? Did you go to the Optimize screen (sometimes doing so forces DVD A to recompress).

  Using the DVD A presets in Vegas, DVD A has not recompressed my files and the ending DVD looks great.
