How do I get the best quality video for my DVDA project? I noted when rendering, you can make changes under the Video tab. Space/size is not an issue as I am working with a 20 min clip.

Using Vegas 6.0c and DVDA. Thanks

    The two main options are:

    1) Render from Vegas to MPEG2 and AC3
    2) Render from Vegas as DV-AVI and let DVDA convert to MPEG2 and AC3

Either way will work fine but you have more control over your settings if you choose option #1.

When Rendering to MPEG-2 DVDA video stream, what do the different options under Custom settings mean. In the Video tab, there are options such as Video quality, Varible/constant bit rate, I frames, B frames. How do these effect the final quality and what should they be set to inorder to get the best quality. Thanks

For your short video, set Video Quality to High.
    Constant bit rate at 8,000,000.
