  explorer view

  I want to be able to view my clips in explorer as thumbnails. I go to views and tried them all, but i can only look at them as a list or tree etc. I notice that when add a clip to my project it then becomes a thumbnail in the media bin. Do I have to capture as thumbnail or something. any help would be great.

  The explorer views don’t have “thumbnail” as an option. You can add the files to the media pool and see thumbnails fine.

  Unfortunatley there is no thumbnail view in the Vegas explorer, however you CAN use Windows explorer, which does have a thumbnail view.
  You can drag to the timeline from there just as easily.
