  Crash on export to QuickTime

  Hi,
  I am a using ParticleIllusion 2.0.1 SE, and when i try to output a QT movie the application crashes! Help!! I’m on MacBook Pro using QuickTime 7.0.4. It’s a fairly old version of QT, is that the reason? I can’t upgrade QT yet due to incompatibility with other apps. ParticleIllusion works fine otherwise, and used to work before with QT, but I haven’t used it for a while and really need it for something now 🙁

  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  If it crashes with every compressor you try, and with all stage sizes (even 320×240 as a test), then I suggest a couple of things:

  1) render a PNG image sequence instead of a QT movie

  2) email support at wondertouch dot com with your problem and I’ll send you the beta version of 2.0.2 to see if that helps.
