    Hello,

I’ve been trying to get the vector paint effect to be rendered in 3d. what i’m currently doing is using the vector paint effect to “paint” on a brick wall. I need to have the paint in a separate blend mode (linear burn) to mix with the wall, so i can’t put in on the wall layer and i also need the layer to be transparent except for the paint, so i’m currently using a shape layer. The only problem with this is that when i pan or rotate the camera, the paint still looks 2d even if the layer is in the 3d mode. Any help would be greatly apreciated

The vector paint effect is a 2d effect, even if it is applied on a 3d layer. Have you thought about using 3d stroke from Trapcode ?? Depending on your paint work, it may fit the job.
