    I already posted this question in the FCP forum, but I thought I might get some different answers in this forum.

    Basically want I want to achieve:

    Going from a DV file with 4 uncompressed audio tracks (2 x stereo tracks) to MP4 with also 2 x stereo tracks in AAC format.

    I can make this manually with QT pro, but that is not an option because I have to do large quantities of conversions.

    I already tried many things in FCP and Compressor, but the only way to retain the channel format is to select passthrough but then the audio is still uncompressed and too big for easy file transfer.
