  • How to create an inner glow along the edge of a transparent object texture

Is anyone willing to share either an actual texture, tutorial, link etc. to help with this medical illustration style texture.

Render time is a factor so I don’t want to light a glass texture. Not really sure how this look is achieved.

    Thanks.

Time is not linear but rather an eternal now.

Keep in mind too things like luminence with a fresnel can be really cool but often it won’t show if the object is 100% transparent. Try bringing your white (the transparency amount) down to a 95 % gray and see if that helps.
There’s also a couple of shaders in the legacy “extra” bundle that you can combine with transparency. Do a search for Danel or Mabel in the content browser and that will reveal where they are stored. (its not those two but I don’t recall the shader’s name, but it was part of the pack that included the two above)
