  • Where are “Make Preview” renders saved?

I want to use one of my “Make Previews” in After Effects for general timing without having to render the full quality render which will take too long. Where are these stored?

Is it possible to obtain the same low level of quality render to the Picture Viewer?

    I’m on a Mac.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

inside the C4D folder or in the Maxon preferences folder, if I recall. Jim will be able to check. But with the preview movie open in the Preview window you should be able to do a Save As… from that window to save it where you want.

On my Mac the “Make Preview” file is saved in the same path as other renders: Render Settings > Save > File…
