X particles play dough
I’m trying to recreate playdough being pushed through holes similar to the start of this mtv ident.
Not sure how to recreate this inside x particles.
I’ve seen ej’s tutorial on soft body dynamics but it’s not quite right.

XPConstraints seems more like it but I don’t know how you would maintain the square corners that way. That MTV piece looks more like a square spline swept down a dynamic spline (with a big enough radius to keep from interpenetrating too much)…. someone had a plugin which the demo for looked quite a bit like that but I’ve unfortunately forgotten the name.

Yeah I was trying constraints earlier and it was close but not quite right.
This one has been done in x particles which is similar as well.
