    Hi there!

Im learning how to blow things up as realistically as I can in Cinema4d R18 using TurbulenceFD. I have two TIE fighters in two null objects in exactly the same position, scale and rotation – except one is damaged and one is undamaged. At keyframe 25, Im trying to make one disappear and the other one appear. I’m doing that by setting keyframes from on to off at the “Visible in Editor / Renderer” properties on the null objects at that keyframe. This works fine in both the viewport and in the magic preview 1.1 plugin, but as soon as I render all frames in Picture Viewer, there’s no change-over from the undamaged to the damaged null objects. Can somebody please tell me why?

    Appreciate your help!

In my tests, keyframing the editor/renderer visibility works fine when rendering to the Picture Viewer. Can you post your project file (or a simplified version with cubes instead of the Tie fighters) so that we can take a look at your settings?

Thank you very much for your offer to help out, figured out the problem wasn’t even that. For some reason I was exporting five frames down from where I was telling it to export, never did figure out exactly why that could be but the nulls weren’t the problem.

Here’s some of what came out so far, thanks very much anyways ☺

I’m glad you got it sorted out.

The effects are looking good. Have fun.
