  Articulating arm in 2 Directions

  Adam, and Cactus Dan helped me out a while back with a similar model I was working on.
  I have this articulating arm, however in this model I now have two. They move along with this object that sits atop a stage that can up up/down, left/right and in/out.
  It is the In/Out motion I am having problems with.

  When the object moves on its X-Axis, the arm pulls apart. Is there a way to fix this?

  I’ve attached a file containing the model so far with its various motions.

  If you take a look at the arms, it should be somewhat clear how I’m trying to get them to “bend” realistically in this motion.
