  • Shadows from glass?

Hi, I’m new to C4d and I’m trying to produce a shadow from a glass cube with an object in the middle. I have an infinite white background and one light (accepting shadows). I dont seem to be able to get a soft shadow on the ground for both the cube or the object inside (due to the transparency I suspect). Can anyone help?

    Thanks

transparency is not an issue, it should work. What are your light’s settings in the shadow tab (or can you post the scene file)?

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for the response. I just read your message and went back through my light settings. I found the shadow option and turned it on and it worked! Don’t know how I missed it. Thanks again!
