does anyone know how to attach objects to a deforming mesh? I’m using morph targets to animate an inflating surface but need a separate object positioned on the surface to move with the deformation. any help would be awesome!

    Hy Neil,

this is a solution which costs a bit, but it does exactly what you want and … a lot more. The very first component described in the (german) tutorial here shows you how it works.

If this is too oversized, maybe check-out xsPolyInstance:

xsPolyInstance should be able to get the job done too. I didn’t use it myself but I think the name already reveals what it will do.

    Cheers,
    André
