    hey!

i asked the same question some weeks ago with no reply, if nobody
has an idea, my work would be totally useless.

i am building and rigging characters and try to merge them together
later. working with ik chains is the best actually because its robot stuff.

when i try to scale them via object OR model tool it begins to make strange stuff with the “bone tip goals” they stey at the right place but the bones move along ik chain.

so i ask again for some help, it would destroy my workflow if i cant scale them afterwards.

    thanks …

    file if needed…

I’m at a loss, I’m afraid. What version of Cinema did you create that in? If it’s a recent version, why are you using the old Mocca IK/Bones instead of the new joints and IK?

I suggest you post your question at the Cineam CGTalk forum where there are more character animators.

    ahhh okay,

i am new to rigging, so i just found one tutorial and this guy used mokka/ik bones. for me, its not to late to use another rigging method,
    if i found tutorials…

i will check out joints and Ik.

    thanks !

Yeah, I would strongly recommend going with the new joints/IK. The old stuff was mainly left in for compatibility with older scenes. You might check the free content at cineversity.com for more info. (or sign up for a whole lot of info.).
