  • Spline in spline and extrude it to get a object

Hello, first of all, I’m sorry my bad English, I don’t know speak English so much.

    I’m learning C4d 11.5 and I’ve a problem with splines and extrudes.

For example, If I have a spline like a rectangle and I would like to make a hole into this rectangle and then extrude the…(I don’t know how to say it) difference or the subtract from both splines, What can I do that?

I know how to do this process in 3ds max but in C4D I haven’t idea.

I wish you understand me 🙁

I’m sorry my English (I’m from Spain)
    cheers

Both shapes need to be one spline.
    1. Draw a shape
    2. Draw the hole
    3. High light both splines and make them editable. (press C)
    4. In the object manager (top right default) Right click and find “Connect and delete”
    5. Place in extrude nurbs
