I’m using Mograph Cloner to clone some arrows, and a SplineWrap object to animate them along a spline. The problem is that the arrows are not where the spline is, but offset from it quite a bit. How do I get the arrows to actually be ON the spline instead of away from it?

    thanks

I haven’t used Spline Wrap too much, but I know you can get a similar result with the Spline Effector.. Have you tried that?

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried it and it works.

On experimenting further, I found that with the Spline Wrap the spline you use has to be closed. I was using an open linear spline with the spline wrap, and got the offsetting. But when I closed the linear spline, the arrows then were on the spline, but they were going in both directions instead of just one. The spline was a straight line, so this wasn’t what I wanted.

Using a Spline Effector I could put the arrows on the open linear spline, and animate them, too. Great suggestion!

Hey glad I could help. And thanks for following up with the results of your experimentation.
