hey everybody, i just found a thread where steve roberts explained to create a woodcut look by using setch n toon. I am not sure if this was just an idea or he had tried it once. I tried it too, but i use s&t for really simple outline jobs.

so if its possible did some get experienced with that technique?

or is there a preset of s&t who is able to handle that. It would be awesome if there is a way,

    sorry for my english

no experience with the technique but it looks like you can get something like the second link if you add a Sketch Material (which should enable Sketch and Toon in Render/Effects).

    In the S&T material tabs:
    Main – Presets – Pen(Calligraphy)
    Stokes – Enable – checked

In Render Settings/Sketch and Toon tabs:
Lines – check off Contour, in the Contour settings that appear lower down set Mode to Position or Angle
Shading – set Object to Custom Color – default is white that will give a black and white image with nothing but strokes.

That’s only very basic quick set up there are *lots* of settings to change and you just have to play with them to see what you can do.
