Length of spline
Is there a way to find out what the length of a closed spline is in Cinema 10.5? I mean the distance along the entire spline from beginning to end (which is back at the beginning). I am animating objects along the spline, and I need to animate other objects along other splines of different lengths and match the speeds. This sounds like something that Mograph might do, but I don’t have Mograph.

Select your spline (editable) – Top Toolbar – Window / Selection/Structure Info,
in the Attributes Manager select the Structure-Tab / Spline Length.Cheers

Just looking for the method to measure spline length in Cinema 4D R13. Couldnt find anything recent online so just fiddled with it until I found the answer in the depths of the software.
1/ Highlight your spline in the Object Manager.
2/ In the Attribute Manager, click and hold on Mode, and Select Project Info.
3/ Click on the Structure Tab and you will find the Spline Length, as well as the number of Hard, Soft and Split Tangents in your Spline.
4/ Knowing this can help you find jerkiness in your spline if you are using it as a camera path, for example.

I tried changing all the units in the preferences but still end up with the same number.Thanks!

I think it’s the Project Scale units (set in Mode/Project/Project Settings)
