Placing an object on a HyperNURBs
I’ve got a whale model that I bought on the web, and it’s a mesh object placed into a Symmetry object placed into a HyperNURBs. It’s a nice whale, rigged and everything. I need to place an object on the whale’s surface, on his skin. It’s a tracking tag. The problem is that the actual mesh is outside of the visible skin of the whale, and if I place the tag visually on the whale’s skin, it moves as the whale swims because the whale’s body is flexing. I need this object to move with the whale’s skin as it swims, and not be above or below the skin. How can I do this?
thanks,
Jack
