  C4D 10 Workshop question

  Hi Arndt

  I just got your book and have a question about a technique. I’m on a mac. On page 36 you describe holding down the control key to switch from points mode to polygon mode. Nothing happens when I do that. I tried both the command and control keys. I can do it through the selection menu, but it would be much faster your way. Any advice?

  It works if you have polys selected and the control click on the point mode tool.

  Hi,
  by switching modes with CTRL hold down, the active selection is converted to the new mode.
  If for example you have only 3 out of 4 points of a polygon selected, switching from points to polygon mode will not select that polygon. Maybe that is what happend in your case.
