    Hi everyone,

    2 questions about Clothilde:

    1: I’ve done a simulation using a Clothilde tagged plane with fixed points, falling on a Collision cube.

    When I want to move my plane, it seems like the fixed points won’t move !! And thus my “new” simulation is a mess…

    How do I move my plane (without unsetting the fixed points and then fix them back !) ??

    ———————————————————————

    2: When my Clothed-plane is well set, I want to “bake” the simulation/animation. My goal is to duplicate the object serveral times, and shift them in time.

    I tried to play with cache, but I cannot find any way to shift timing ?? And I guess this is not the good way since if, by mistake, I clear the cache of any of my object, I would not be able to re-simulate since my object would have been moved from its original place.

    How can I “bake” a Clothilde-simulation in order to have “full-control” over time and space of my animation ???

    Thanxs for your help

    1. Use the belt tag instead of fixing points.

    2. Copy your cached cloth object and drop it in a null. Then move the null instead of the cloth object.

    I guess your answer concerns my 1st question. Thanxs

    Do you know how can I “bake” my simulation, like the Resolver tag in Dynamics ???
    My goal is to have control over time; I want to speed-up my plane falling and then slow it down on a certain time. Do you have any clues foe this ???

    Sorry Christophe, I missed that you wanted to do a time offset. Here’s the trick to baking Cloth animation to keyframes using Mocca>Cappucino set to PLA (only):

    *select your cloth object;
    *activate the axis tool;
    *go into scale mode (use scale tool);
    *click the Cappucino “start realtime” button;
    *click and hold the LMB until the end of the animation (do not drag the mouse during this time!).

    That’s it!
