    Hi everyone,
I wanted to create a slow motion clip (a small stone falling on a leaf), i shot it increasing the shutter speed to 10,000.. but when i changed the clip speed to 50% in AE & also premiere pro i couldn’t get the results i wanted…
I thought as footage shot with increased shutter creates sharp motion, reducing the speed would create very smooth slow motion,, atleast i thought that way, but something went wrong)

any help would be very useful …

*The camera i used was a ‘Sony HVR-Z1P HDV Camcorder’.
    *10,000 shutter speed.

A high shutter rate reduces motion blur, but for slow motion you need a high frame rate. When you go to 50% speed, you’re repeating frames which makes for jerky motion.
You need to generate new, interpolated frames. For that use Effects > Time > Timewarp, and use Method=Pixel Motion.
The manual has more info about the rest of the settings.
