  Motion blur question

  I have a question regarding motion blur.

  I have made a sequence in my COMP 1 and have selected motion blur for all layers and the comp itself.

  I have my COMP 1 also in my COMP 2 (which is just COMP 1 with time remapping).

  Normally I see everything I change in my COMP 1 change in the COMP 1 which is in COMP 2. But when I turned on motion blur it only showed in my COMP 1 not in the COMP 1 in COMP 2. Is this normal? Should motion blur first render? How do I get it in my COMP 2?

  You need to go to the Preferences section (Edit–>Preferences for PC, After Effects–>Preferences for Mac), and in the General section, make sure that “Switches Affect Nested Compositions” is checked.
