    Hello All,
On a BluRay disc, is the BDMV file the Video-TS file equivalent of a SD DVD file. If so, can it be archived and then brought into Toast at a later date and be made into another BluRay?

One more….can I use any DVD copy software such as Nero to burn a copy of a BluRay?

    Regards

yes, you can rip a BR and use the media to build a new one.
    Nero works for PC.
I guess that non commercial BR can be copied with Toast. No idea about BR that have protection.
Here they mention an application to rip BRs:

    Thanks for your response.

These are my projects, and this is the ongoing archival process that we discussed in my previous thread stemming from DVD disc failure.

I did try to take my BDMV file and drag it into Toast 10, it has a place to drag these file types. It appeared to be burning but just ejected a blank BluRay, but the when I tried to use the same disc over again for another experiment, Toast says the BluRay isn’t blank. Don’t want to keep making coasters. Have any of you done this? Can I have your workflow? I can’t imagine I’m far off the mark but murdering quality blanks can get pricy.
    Thanks.
