  Exporting with Chroma Key

  Hello,

  I am pretty new to editing and appreciate any help/suggestions you can offer. I am using FCE and have used the chroma key feature to add in an image behind my speaker in a video. I have made all of the adjustments to make the key look good in FCE, but when I export the video I am getting a small green hue behind the speaker. Why is this evident in my exported video and not in the FCE canvas. Is there anything I can do before I export to prevent this??? FYI I am exporting to M-Peg4 video.

  Hi Andrew,
  That probably shows that your Chroma-K is not perfect.
  To spot that in the Canvas, you need to set it at 100% or even zoom.
  Use a white for the background to see how its really works the chroma-k.
  Also try a black as background.

  Hello Rafael,

  Thank you for you suggestion. I did try zooming into the canvas to get a sharper key. But, for whatever reason the exported video kept having some spillage. I finally added (or should say found) the green spill suppressor filter and that solved the problem.
