  • Getting non drop frame warning when trying to re capture media

Posted by Dave Craig on August 5, 2007 at 3:27 am

I do three camera multi cuts with 720p60 footage from a Panasonic vtr. After I have dumped the footage and have to go back to recapture I get a warning that reads:
“Warning: You are about to capture Drop Frame media from a device currently detecting Non-Drop Frame media. If you proceed, you may experience changes in logged in and out points, problems relinking media or removal of master clip relationships.”
I am using the same deck that I originally created and captured the project with and this was happening before and after the upgrade to fcs2 from fcs1.
If I go ahead and capture my multi clips are out of sync with original cut.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
Time code is drop frame that is assigned before reaching the three VTRS.

I am using a Mac Pro Quad 3.0GHz Intel
