  • Exporting Individual Audio Tracks to seperate AIFF files using in/out points

    Hi,

I have a feature film with the several Dolby 5.1 audio tracks imported and synced up.

I now need to export the audio tracks (the portion within the in/out points set) in such a way that each audio track goes to a seperate aiff file.

I can only seem to export as a stereo mix — and am unsure if I just turn off all the tracks except the one I want, whether it’s really exporting just the single track or a mix of all the tracks.

    Thanks,
    Nikhil

In case anyone else runs into this —

Ensure only one track is turned on at a time.
Use Export -> Using Quicktime Conversion, then select AIFF and in options select MONO
