  Making Sound Louder, and Combining Sequences

  Two questions, which should be easy to answer:

  1. I can turn up the sound by double-clicking on the clip in the timeline, and then adjusting in the Tool Bench. But I can only go up to +12db there, which isn’t enough on some quiet clips. How can I make the video louder than that?

  2. I’m arranging my project such that there’s a difference sequence for each scene in the film. Once I’m done, how do I arrange the sequences (that is, the scenes) in the proper order? Can I have sequences within one main sequence?

  You can double the tracks. You can select the audio and use the nets items function and then raise the level of the nest. You can also use a filter to add pregain to the level.
