    Is there any difference between the quality of apple ProRes(HQ) and 8 bit uncompressed or apple ProRes(HQ) convert from 8bit uncompressed file. we are making digital print for cinemas. which will be best.

    If you are just making the ProRes HQ from an 8 bit uncompressed then you may as well just send the 8 bit uncompressed. ProRes is a transcode and has compression.

    ProRes HQ is 10 bit depending on the original source so would look better if your original material was 10 bit.

    my original footage is Apple ProRes (hq) and if i convent it in 8 bit uncompressed, will the quality of film be improvised.

    If your original footage is ProRes HQ, that’s as good as it will be (which is still very good).

    Transcoding to uncompressed would be a waste of time and space.
