New Member to the forum here. Thanks for everything you have posted so far

Im using final cut pro 7.0.3 and Im shooting with a canon T3i. I am using Mpeg stramclip to convert to Prores 422 LT. When I try to move the converted file into FCP I get ” unknow File ” and the red stop sign. I also have tried prores 422 and prores 4444 . They all do the same. Can someone help?
OS 10.6 FCP7 just downloaded mpeg stremclip

Thanks for a GREAT forum !

No…its says it doesnt recognize the file as a video file

It may be because my original footagewas filmed at 1280×720 at 60fps I will check tonight by shooting a little clip at 1080 at 30 fps
