exporting a 3 hour show
Can someone please let me know the best way to export a 2 hour 45 minute show in SD. It has to fit on a single layer DVD. Thanks in advance, Jill

Use Compressor. Use a very low bit rate. Around 2.5.

Why only a single layer? your quality will be way down at that low data rate.
Go double layer.Cheers

Steve and Alexander, many thanks for your response. I will try both suggestions. Can our 5 year old DVD burner that came with our Mac Pro handle a Dual layer DVD burn?

On your machine, look in About this Mac>System Report>Hardware>Disc burning>DVD Write, that will show you wether it is capable.
For double layer on the Mac in DVDSP, the DVD+RDL discs work best.Cheers
