  plugin for log and transfer of .MTS files?

  Trying to ingest AVCHD files shot on a Sony camera (don’t know model #) with .mts extension. They will not appear in my Log and Transfer window. I am currently converting the files to ProRes using ClipWrap but that seems to be a tedious process. Does anybody know if there is a plugin available to make them work with Log and Transfer?

  Which camera? FCP 6.0.6 won’t be compatible with many of the newer AVCHD cameras, as there is no AVCHD standard, and every maker has a camera that shoots a slightly different version. Sony NX cameras, for example….for that you need FCP 7.0.3. Otherwise, ClipWrap is the best bet. The process takes as long as L&T.

  Have you tried rewrapping instead of converting?
  With some MTS flavors works great.
