Capture format not lining up
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to capture directly from a Kona3 rig where the format is 1080psf 23.98 at 1920×1080. I want it to be 1280×720. However, regardless of the setting I attempt to put the capture at, when I go to the actual files in finder and open them in Quicktime they are still at 1920×1080.
Any ideas why?

You’ll have to state specifically exactly what that means to you, because we have no idea what you’ve tried.
For instance, did you attempt to use the AJA Control Panel to set the Kona3 to properly down-convert?

CROSS CONVERT…let’s get the terminology right.
You have to CROSS CONVERT in the Kona Control panel..

Down Convert is when you go from HD to SD.

Yes, but 1280×720 is HD….to 1080 to 720 is a cross convert.
