Posted by Shilpa Jaisingh on July 11, 2011 at 1:22 pmI am currently using FCP 7 with ADVC 300. It constantly giving me interlace lines and suddenly the picture goes still whilst capturing…any solution? The same device works with i-movie perfectly fine…

July 11, 2011 at 5:06 pmThats not a solution…basically we need to capture content that has been recorded on a dvd recorder…and its 30-40 hours of video to go through…so mpeg streamclip wont work…

Then change your machine control to none.
Use Capture now.
If your DVD recorder is making interlaced then you might need to capture interlaced.Chris Tompkins
