  Problem adding transitions need help!!!

  I short a music concert with my canon xha1 managed to capture every clip I needed I added transitions to almost every clip like I wanted except the last 3 clips whenever I drop a transition in between the 2 clips it stays on top of either the clip on the left or the one on the right. How do I get it right what I’m I doing wrong. I have a Mac pro 3.0 ghz intel,8gigs of ram, radeon1900xt video card

  Is there enough room on the heads and tails of the clips for this transition? You need to have a few frames on either side for the transition to occur.

  Maybe you are at the end or beginning of those clips and there is no room to do some transitions like cross-dissolve…etc.
