i just cant get these tiffs working
i now im a pain but i need some serious help with this thing. Can someone explain in detail how to go about solving this problem?
i put the tiffs into stomp to decrease file size then i pop them into fcp. They look a bit soft inside of fcp and thats before i even render the images out of fcp. when i do render out my tiffs from fcp5 they are too soft. ive uploaded an image of the settings and an image of what the QT final render looks like.
i have asked before for help but people are at a loss like me? cheers

Don’t use h.264. It is not an editing codec. Use ProRes.

stomp doesn’t have prores. where can i find prores in order to use it? heres a list of codecs that come with stomp. as you can see prores isnt here

If these are your only options, use Animation codec.

i used apple animation codec in stomp and that compressed my 600mb file to 150mb but when i import into fcp5 then render and export as QT movie i still get soft looking image.

i used an apple animation codec in stomp and that reduced my file size to 110 mb from 600 mb i then imported my 110 mb file into fcp5 and exported as a QT movie when i played it back it was very soft. what else can i do to solve this problem?
