I am new to AE CS3 and have been trying the https://www.adobe.com/designcenter/video_workshop/ “Vanishing point to map 3-D” tutorial, but when I import the .vpe data and look at the comp that AE created it is always rotated 90 to 180 degrees and is way off to the side, and pointed away! I followed the tutorial to the letter several times now and get the same results.

That doesn’t happen in the tutorial! What is going on? Is there a special setting that I didn’t set when I installed AE CS3? Does it have to do with how the grid is made in PS CS3? Help appreciated.

I’m having the same problem. I’m also having problems inside Photoshop, where when I try to make perpendicular planes, they’re coming off at crazy angles. This, too, did not happen in the tutorial. Anyone out there more knowledgeable and want to share?

    Thank you!

I’m getting the same crap. I had to really mess with all of the position and rotation settings to get it to look like the Photoshop file.
