I have a Motion JPEG A Quicktime file that I’m trying to convert to ProRes. Taking a preset from Quicktime/ProRes422 and applying it to the clip, I find that in the Format Inspector/Encoder/Video settings the “Interlaced” checkbox won’t stay unchecked. I found this after running an overnight batch. I uncheck it and then hit OK and then click on settings again and it’s checked. The source is 24frame progressive. I don’t think it matters but I’m changing the size from 1080 to 720.
I’m glad it’s only the night before our screening!
    Thanks for any help.

currently on a MacPro, using FCP 7.0.2, ProResLT from eSATA G-Raid (4 TB of incredible footage) and a now a Matrox MX02LE just to make it more complicated… love calibrating my projector though.

If you are downscaling, I think its matter a lot.
The downscaling is been done in a field base.
