So I just got called last minute for an Assisting job tomorrow morning but I’ve never delivered for a Scratch Online. All the guy told me:

    – Feature Shot on RED,
    – offline in ProRes
    – Online will be done on Scratch

Skimming the forums I’ve noticed that there seems to be an issue with the _H.mov extension written in the EDL. Will I have to manually change each clip on the EDL to .r3d so it reconnects properly in Scratch?

    Also:
-I know there can’t be any Ramps, Reverse, etc. So should I deliver 2 references QT’s? One with effects and one without?
-I’m planning on bringing a Printed EDL and my computer running the original Sequence to the Online. What else would be helpful?
    – Should I break the sequence up into 10 – 20 minute Reels and have multiple EDLs? Will that help or hinder the Colorist?

Any tips or tricks to make sure things go smoothly would be GREATLY appreciated. I’ve never delivered with EDLs for Scratch……
