  Problem with speed change HD to SD

  Hello guys,

  I having a problem when a i change speed in final cut with HD videos. We usually capture our material in 108060i 29,97 DVCPROHD but when I downconvert to SD every video that we changed the speed jiggles, its like flicks. Trying to solve the problem, I found out that if I change the sequence setting (8-bit uncompressed) from lower field to upper field it does not flick. Is there another way I can downconvert to SD without flicking with lowerfield? or can I just leave in upper field?

  I’m using an Intensity from BlackMagic to output the SD video to Betacam.

  HD is upper field…SD is lower field. The Capture Card should convert this properly when it outputs. It isn’t?
