    I export my movie from Final Cut 5.4 on my machine running Leopard. Looks awesome.

    Open it on another computer running snow leopard/QuicktimeX. Looks dark(bad). This machine also has QT 7 on it, I open it with that and it looks perfect.

    This is for broadcast, how do I make sure the end result doesn’t look dark? It’s going to go through an Avid eventually.

    QT X is unfinished… not ready for primetime. So don’t trust what it shows you.

    You view your footage properly, on a calibrated BROADCAST monitor. NEVER ever judge quality of the footage for broadcast on a COMPUTER display. Oh my, no no no no no….
