I don’t know if his is a bug or if I am doing something wrong.
I transcoded a bunch of files to prores proxy after first have made a archive to disk image. This took me about five hours. For some reason i later threw away the clips from my bin but didnt empty the clips from the scratch disk folder.
Then I imported/transcoded the clips once again.
What the plugin then did was this:
    I imported the clip MVI_7922
Since there already existed clips in the scratch disk called for example, MVI_7922 and MVI_7923 the plugin just autonamed my clip to MVI_7924. When i then import MVI_7924 from the camera it autonames this file to MVI_7925.
That messes up the entire namingconvention and it doesnt warn me of clip name conflicts.

Any one else have had a problem with this?

Yes this is how the plugin works

Just ‘make offline’ the proxy, import the new clip then change the name to the old clip and then ‘rename file to match clip’ Then reconnect.

Might be a more elegant way, but it worked for me.
