  Follow the actor with a light around the objects

  Hi anyone there,
  How can I follow a path around and object with a light then highlighted all at once?
  I watched the tutorial for outlined the actor by Andrew Krammer, cool, but How can I light in a sequence of following a path around it?
  Thanks for any help.
  I am doing some effects for my 15TH birthday presentation with some effects that I found in this great creativecow site.

  Could you be a little bit more specific? I don’t quite understand what you are trying to achieve.

  Thanks first of all.
  Let see if I can explain it.
  I have and object, and I want to have the outline around it. Then I want to see like spark ignited like the mission impossible but in this case is following the object. I don’t want the whole object highlighted at once but a spark going from one point to go all around.
  See if you find my idea clear. Thanks
  I saw it once but Iguess the website is not valid anymore so I can not show you what I mean.
