  Apply a metadata to a long captured clip in FCP using an ALE or EDL?

  Hi Guys,
  i am wondering if is possible in FCP or cinema tools to apply metadata using an ALE or EDL (timecode and cuts) to a very long captured sequence (ProRes)

  Basically i can playback a long timeline multiclip sequence out from scratch over the Nvidia quadro SDI (as 1 long playback) and capture ProRes….but the timecode can’t be transfered over the nvidia quadro SDI…so i need to apply it later…(Scratch can export an ALE or EDL of the timeline) ..

  The Avid System can do this no problem :capture over the sdi as long sequence and than open thr ALE generated in scratch and automatically cutting the long sequence and assigning the timecode as it is in the scratch multiclip timeline…

  Is this possible in FCO or using Cinema tools?
