  Audio out of Sync !

  Hello
  i need guidance regarding out of sync audio in my captured footage.
  I used a Canon XH A1, 25F, audio recorded stereo
  I run FCP 5.1.4 in a MacPro 2GHz connected via usb to an external hard drive, never had problems with this.
  I used ‘easy setup’ settings of 1080p25 and the footage looks good except only the first clip captured is out of sync, the succeeding clips all seem to be fine. I used ‘capture now’ and also i captured using in & out points and still the same problem with the first clips of any of the tapes recorded in the same occasion.
  Am i doing anything obviously wrong? is the usb to hard drive the possible problem? otherwise…camera settings?
  I am lost!

  Hi.

  Have you tested to capture some black in the start so the systems get synced up by then ?
